Wedding Cost

my guy just wants 2 run off and get married i have never been married officially and neither has he. would settle for a wedding/reception at our farm still would love a church wedding. so how much more would us having a traditional church wedding cost?

if you are a member of a church, they usually look for just a donation to the church to perform the ceremony… however, you will have to provide all the decorations and heed to their restrictions.. no money savings there really…. i love that you live on a farm… i am doing an at home wedding myself… 10/10/09… we live in a small historical town in the south and are blessed with a beautiful historic home in the heart of the downtown area… live oaks bigger around than you can reach, moss hanging from the trees, year round blooming trees, true southern ambiance. our wedding is going to cost around 3700.00 total… the venue is free but that is the end of the savings… we still have to decorate, but we are using our surroundings to benefit us… we are doing white twinkle lights in the bushes that totally enclose our yard ( front and back ) lots of tulle ( and i mean lots!! i can send you a link to low cost tulle if you like ) and we ( not really we.. i ( : ) chose white daisies as our flowers which are in full bloom late summer and early fall ( check the season of the flowers you pick, they can be costly if they are not in season when you plan to marry ). we are doing heavy appetizers and an open bar… the food and liquor looks to be the most expensive part of the wedding…
